Definitely go for it!!!!

At the time I purchased this 4 wheel 29" Delsey Superlight case I was a little apprehensive as to whether this would be a sturdy enough for my long international flights. It is so light I thought that it may even collapse on the first trip. I was in a hurry and I always overload my cases so I really needed the lightest case I could find so I decided to take a chance. I needed to buy a case urgently anyway for my trip which was within the next day or two. It was at a sale price that very night and that was also a bit of an incentive for me to buy it.
When I got home I decided to check some reviews on-line. What I read did not make me feel so secure with this purchase and I was ready to take it back to the shop - only thing was I didn't really have time to do that, so I stuck with it.
I filled it almost to the top - and this case really fits a LOT being deeper than some other cases I saw. It arrived at my destination perfectly in tact and I was so happy and relieved. On the return trip I filled this case to it's absolute maximum, and it was VERY heavy. The weight was in fact in excess and the airline even put a red HEAVY sticker on it to warn their workers I presume to take precautions when lifting. Once again, the case arrived 100% in tact. No bashes, bruises, tears, no problems with the handle, zip- nothing. Just as I had given it over the attendant, that's how it arrived.
All the unfavourable reviews that I read seemed to have been completely baseless. I loved the green/taupe colour, the 4 wheels, the comfy handle and the extra space inside of course. Another good feature is the handle at the bottom of the case - you need this when lifting it for example into or out of the car. Not all cases have this.
At this point I have no complaints and I can only say, you can't believe all the negative reviews you read. They either had real bad luck or just wanted to complain? Just one thing to mention; I'm not so sure if the light came on the case to advise me that it was over 50lbs or not - perhaps one shouldn't rely on that? You can always purchase at a very low cost a hand scale to check the weight if you will be overly concerned.

Huge and light with built in overweight scale

My daughter insisted on this HUGE bag. It is light weight, well designed and well made - making it easy to manage. The one problem is that it is TOO EASY TO OVERFILL! It is so huge that if it is filled, even without packing tightly - it goes overweight. The built in overweight indicator is really good, but you need to really look carefully at it in good light - it doesn't show up as bright red right on the surface, but instead it is a deeper red a little further inside the view-hole. Oh well... we learned that when we hit the airport and had to remove stuff. Even then, it made it easier to figure out what to pull out. Overall a good bag (but next time I'd probably buy her one size smaller).
