Great upright but too big

The suitcase is really well made. The manufacturer's measurements are quoted at 60.5 inches for airline dimensions. Airlines charge an extra fee for oversized luggage 62 inches or greater ($175 one way). When I received the suitcase, it looked really big so I measured it and it came to 62.5 inches, not 60.5. It doesn't seem like much and most people wouldn't get caught for the oversized luggage but with my luck, I would. So I am returning this beautiful bag for one that doesn't seem as great but will be under 60 inches.

There is better out there - you get what you pay for

I ordered 2 of these bags because the size and price was right. I was packing for my trip and noticed one of the bags had a tear on the front of the bag and the other one had a few snags at the seams. I had them only 3 weeks. I sent them back and went out to a couple of stores to see what I could find. I noticed the quality is less on these bags than some of the other brands out there. The material seems thinner and less durable than other bags so that made it tear without it even leaving my house. You really get what you pay for. While this luggage is nice it damages easy and I don't think it would make it through a plane trip intact.

doesn't support alot of weight

i travel overseas to asia for 4 weeks at a time for work. so i pack alot of clothes.
pros:
holds alot of clothes. large expandable.
easy to spot at baggage claim
easy to grip handle
love the aligning zippers for adding a a tsa lock
cons
frame doesnt handle alot of weight well as the case begins to buckle by the wheels (i had about 50 lbs inside)
wheels are low quality and will easily break off
in hindsight, i should have bought a case with a stronger frame or a hardshell to meet my needs. case is fine if you are not pushng the weight limits.
